I wanted to create a "dream clutch" that adults could carry for both casual and formal occasions.

To achieve this, I first focused meticulously on the leather.

For this clutch, we used Basilea, a new leather developed specifically for this purpose.

It boasts a softness that adheres to the hand and a sheen hidden within its black depth. To achieve both, it's finished with a combination tanning process, primarily chrome-tanned with just a hint of vegetable tannin.

The elegant texture of the shrink leather develops a deeper richness with use—it's a material that truly embodies the essence of "adult leather."

For the accompanying parts, we used "Liscio" from Carlo Badalassi in Italy.

This oil leather, finished with the traditional Vachetta method, is so rich that you can feel the difference the moment you touch it, and it develops a beautiful patina over time.

This clutch isn't just for carrying things; it aims to become "the very style of the person who carries it"—that's the vision I pursued.
